I just recently install VMware ESXI 6.5 and want to run a RAID. Yes, I know software RAID (FAKE Raid) is not the best, but from what I can tell, it might be able to work.

This link shows the card I have and I believe it is usable as a RAID. I have it enable in my BIOS and created a RAID 5 of my drives. Any ideas or do I need to buy a RAID card? I'd rather use this setup than buy a card, but I will if I have to.
Edit: Late in the night and actually forgot to say my issue. I have the drives in a RAID 5 but they show up as individual disks, not a RAID. What can I do to have the RAID show up.
