EDIT: Pulled the drivers and software from the Saitek website, but it seems like it's taking forever to install (over an hour on Programmable Support). Ideas?
Edit2 and then it went BSOD and killed my windows install. Welp.
Edit3 Restored Windows to a backup from earlier today (Woo proper maintenance procedures). I was able to install the SAITEK SMART software. Man, so many functions on this thing, I'm gonna spend hours just experimenting with binding.
Edit4: Okay, so far so cool, the fine control on the stick feels great, and I've been flying around free flight trying to get used to it on default config before diving into rebinding for personal comfort. Questions: My throttle appears to work properly, in that my throttle indicator shows 0 on my HUD when my throttle is pulled all the way back. What I don't get is why as soon as I'm not applying pressure to my throttle, my ship shoots up to 200 (in a hornet) forward motion.
Should by X/Y rotation be stable at rest? It looks like my X rotation is at about 650, and Y is flickering around 1000? Also, looking in the default settings, it seems like a number of buttons are referenced that I haven't been able to locate on the controller Screenshot here
